When someone visits www.sidcot.org.uk (or one of our subdomains e.g. alumni.sidcot.org.uk) we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. Careers – Careers South West Group Ltd
During your Lower Fifth year, there will be an opportunity to gain some work experience in a real workplace. The data passed to Southwest Placements will include anything that will make the placement safe and enjoyable. For example it it likely to include, your name, address, next of kin and medical details

School approved taxis
From time to time when a student requires a taxi, we will pass the taxi company relevant personal information to ensure a safe trip, this will include name and a contact number but may also include medical data if appropriate e.g. for a long trip the driver may need to know that a student is epileptic.

School transport e.g. mini buses
When using school transport the driver will have access to all relevant data, which will include name, contact numbers and any relevant medical details to ensure a safe trip. All drivers of school transport are school staff.

School Trips – when using an external company
When attending a compulsory school trip related to the curriculum e.g. some Geography field trips, your data will be passed to the travel company to ensure a safe trip can take place.

If you are an international student who requires a Tier 4 Visa your data will be shared with Mark Taylor Solicitors, who may also enter it into the school’s database, for the purpose of completing the Tier 4 visa process

Microsoft Office 365 (O365)
All students and staff have data stored and processed with O365 for the purposes of delivering lessons; for safeguarding for the improvement of lessons; to allow student to catch up on missed lessons.
All online lessons are recorded and store within O365 (Microsoft Stream) and are only used within the school community.
